Managing work and employee schedules effectively

CAFM Explorer’s Work Planner is an easy-to-use application with Microsoft Outlook style calendars. The calendars can be updated manually or via automated entries, with provision for public holidays, annual leave and sickness, as well as enabling real-time updates to reflect Room Bookings and Help Desk requests.

The Work Planner also improves service levels to clients or staff by reducing duplicate workloads and minimising time spent on scheduling tasks.

  • Auto selection of key resources based on required skillsets
  • Online visibility of all assigned work activities
  • Ability to record public holidays, annual leave, sickness and other activities for contractors
  • Calendar interface to allow activities to be displayed for each contractor
  • Functionality to enable a contractor’s Work Planner or calendar to be viewed directly from the Help Desk application
  • Fix or floating Work Order tasks can be easily scheduled when raising Work Orders. This enables work to be carried out at specified times and allocated to available contractors
  • On-screen alerts when scheduling work for contractors in different locations – clashing calendar activities, work scheduled outside the agreed Service Level or exceeding the maximum working hours
  • A wide range of performance reports including SLAs, KPIs and timesheet reports available via the web dashboards and reporting tools
